We started The Adult World in 2005 as a group. Mainly because social networking and dating sites we have used before where not good enough. Why this one will be better we can't say, BUT we will give you the freedom to be yourself and we will not add fake profiles so you think we are bigger then we are. We will also have real single people and keep promoting this site so more and more will join. MySpace, Facebook, Bebo, Match, All have one major flaw that this site does not. It's ran but some corporate marketing group that wants money. Granted money is nice and we do want it too lol but not over doing something great. We would like to think that if we offer a service that people want, the way they want it, then they will be happy to pay a fair price. Here are some more reasons why other social network and dating sites are lacking:
Craigslist Personals - We are calling all Craigslist users. We are better in every way, we have better pictures, videos, social networking tools, winks, email alerts, account verification, we give all of these better tools for meeting new adult and posting personals for free. So why not join the tens of thousands that have already joined The Adult World!
My Space - First of all it's a mix of kids and adults, this is a disaster and I am surprised they have not got sued for all the older people trying to get with all the kids and vise versa. The Adult World is made for adults so we can allow more freedom, language, and what adults like.
Facebook - Facebook is not social, it's only good for keeping track of friends you should probably call more then post a bulletin with anyway's. The Adult World is based around being social, meeting new people, and not caring about what's cool and what's not. That's one reason why we like dating sites so much, they are about meeting new people, creating new friendships, and more.
Bebo - Bebo is just another myspace as far as I can tell.
Match - Match is too expensive, uptight, and fake. They got sued for hiring people to add fake profiles and even talk to you with them. You wonder why you didn't actually go on a date even though you seem to hit it off, that's why!
Plenty of Fish - POF is nice but it is all about dating and in the end that vibe is always going to be uptight. We want to do a community of adult's that want to add a little more to their life and have fun doing it. If you meet someone special then that's a plus.
AdultfriendFinder and SexSearch are not considered our competition, I have heard over half of their profiles are fake! If you use them then you are probably getting ripped off.
Also keep in mind we are not judges, we all don't care what you do in the bedroom, how you dress, what you do for a living, or your sexual preferences. We welcome you to come and meet new people and to show people who you are and what you like.
Ongoing mission - We will constantly be upgrading and promoting our site, feel good knowing you are part of a constantly growing community that will be getting better and better.
We also will be offering spokesperson positions from real people from this website. We have already found two amazing spokespeople Becky http://www.myspace.com/theadultworld and Chaze who has been doing a great job letting people know of our new website.
